What the application stores today

This factual summary describes the software, not a legal policy:

  • Account: email address, display name and a securely hashed password. To keep one membership per mailbox, a one-way hash of the address in a normalised form is stored with the account; it is treated as personal data and erased together with the email address.
  • Program state: rank, rank history, points, rewards, referral relationships and your preferences.
  • Commerce: normalized order amounts and status needed for qualification. Customer emails are stored only as one-way hashes.
  • Referral visits: the referral code, a random visitor key (hashed) and the date. No IP address or device fingerprint is stored.

Your email address is never shown to other members. You can hide yourself from the leaderboard in your profile.
